First Friday Showcase: Abbot Kinney, Books on Fate, The Quirk & Life in 24 Frames

First Fridays speaks to the core of our mission for The Uptown Nightclub. To encourage live music in the Uptown District of Oakland by showcasing Local Indie bands that we think are great! Because we believe that the local artistry of the Bay Area is what makes the bay so great. If we can create an environment where great bands can be seen by an audience who otherwise would not know them, them we’ve done our job. And to be able to offer this night without a cover, makes us even happier.
