You’re invited to the one time only special showing of the documentary from Zack Bateman, Underground Under Review at the The Uptown Nightclub! This documentary is a thesis on the state of the underground scene in the Bay Area and the effects it has suffered from the tragedy of the The Oakland Ghost Ship Fire last year. The film features a close look inside of the warehouse/art collective scene and was made to show the importance of art spaces in the Bay Area. Interviews and people involved with this documentary include folks like: (Grammy award winner) Fantastic Negrito, East Bay Punk Legend Jello Biafra, Angel Nova of The Phenomenauts, (Owner of The Burnt Ramen) Mykee Ramen, (Co-Creator of the world famous Hubba Hubba Revue) Jim Sweeney, Founder of Tourettes Without Regrets, Jamie DeWolf, Founder of OIM Records, Sarah Sexton, and many more.

The screening will feature live performances from some very very very very very special Bay Area guests before and after the film, so you’ll wanna stick around for the whole thing!
